How to get a positive mindset

Hello guys,

How are you? I hope all of you are fine.
Today I will talk about positive thinking, because in my opinion it’s one of the important point in life.
It’s fact that a positive mindset brings good vibes and the bright side of life.
The key is a positive mental an emotional attitude.
Now I want to share my tips for positive thinking with you:

The most important thing is to start the day with positive thoughts.
One small positive thought in the morning can change your whole day.
Don’t let negative thoughts dominate, they can spank your whole day, don’t give them a chance. Talk to yourself! For example: Today will be a good day!
Also transform your negative self-talk into positive self-talk. If something annoys you, don’t let it close to you. 
If you’re in a bad situation, find the good things. No matter how small they are. When you have a challenge, focus on the benefits, no matter how inconspicuous they are. Furthermore, there is always a solution. 
If you make a mistake, see it as a lesson. Nobody is perfect and making mistakes is allowed. You can evaluate your mistake and learn from them. Focus on your present …and I really mean the present. Don’t worry too much about your past, it’s over and you have learned from it. 
Smile as often as you can! Maybe you have heard of the facial feedback hypothesis before.
The facial feedback hypothesis says that your facial expression affects your emotional experience.
Keep it in your mind: Laughing released the happiness hormone Endorphin.

And don’t forget:
Don’t let negative thinking people destroy your positive day!

How to be successful as a student

Hi everyone,

hope you all had a great start into 2020!
The Christmas holidays are over and the learning stress starts again.
The next few weeks will be exhausting and stressful, there are many exams!
But I have prepared well for this busy time.
In the next paragraph, I would like to give you an insight into my learning preparations.

The most important thing is the organization!
First I made a To-Do List, then I wrote it in my pocket calendar. This gives a good overview of the next weeks.
It’s important to start learning in time. Start earlier and don’t get any stress towards the end! Furthermore, divide it up…it’s better to do short, intensive lessons, and plan learning breaks! During this break you should be moving. Go out and meet some friends.
I always learn 1 ½ hours in a row and then I take a 30-40 minutes break.
Before my learning phase begins, I clear my desk, that I can completely concentrate on learning. Besides put your cell phone away.
A study group can also be helpful. I’m very happy with my study group, before an exam we learn the material together and test ourselves. Teaching someone else is the best way to learn!
The day before an exam, you should go to bed early. In bed, you can read the important facts again. So, your brain processes the facts while you’re sleeping.

How to be successful at work

Hi guys,

It’s been too long since I last updated this blog. Last week I started to work in a hotel. So, I give you some tips how to be successful at work.

First, be always friendly… Be the energy you want to attract.
Furthermore be always punctual, it makes a good impression. 

One of the essential point is to look at your mobile phone only during your breaks. So, it’s easier to keep your private stuff at home.

Ask for help and offer it as well. Keep in mind you will not know everything when you first start your job. It’s never a mistake if you ask someone for help. Always offer your help but listen, don’t be a smart-ass.

Another point is to be organized, your workplace should always be clean, so that you have an overview. For your organization you can use post-its, highlighter, folder and separation sheets. 

Moreover structure your day!
Arrive at work early and get ready for your day. Prepare a to-do-list that you know what you have to do during your day. Do not get flustered by last minute changes. You may have to modify your plans. 

Finally, plan always some extra time for your projects.
